Mostly Autumn (rock, prog. rock, folk rock / UK)

Mostly Autumn is a British band from York (UK), producing music heavily influenced by classic 1970s rock. Their music contains elements of progressive rock, hard rock, folk-rock and celtic rock, and has included flute, violin, whistles and Uilleann pipes alongside traditional rock instruments. Their music has changed and evolved over the years although much of their work retains a strong 70s classic rock feel. The group formed in 1996, and have built their reputation through constant touring, never signing to a major label. The group's early influences were Genesis, Renaissance and Pink Floyd, and folk music. Later albums also included more contemporary influences.
